I put it to you that one mans bargain is another mans pile of dross, and I'm sure the inability to purchase 'online' has saved me more than enough ;)

Well I am talking about things I am buying anyway and have the ability to find the best price. You have not been able to do that fully no matter how smug you are in your replies

I have a wall extractor fan in my kitchen but it's in the window in my bathroom, that needs changing to the wall. And I hope they replace the window net curtain cord screws.

I'm well happy. The kitchen brings in a draft. Hopefully things improve. :D

I just had the last visits this lunchtime. The fitters will put screws in the new window frames for net curtains. The extractor fan in the bathroom cannot be repositioned in the upper wall because of structural rules. I'm top floor. It's going back in the window.

Asbestos checks. And it's done for a provisional date of next month but works are to be confirmed. They were hoping work was done by now.

Anyway it's confirmed new windows, wall insulation, roof work all to drive a net zero target.

As well as don't use bog roll to wipe your ass, you're falling into the strange human category quickly. Lol

How many floors up are you?

All those billions of $'s spent on developing AI and Mrs G is crying with laughter listening to Fart Fest - Over 1 hour and 1000 fart sounds on Amazon Alexa. Money well spent and she's happy.

Awake for sunrise must be therapeutic for you though. You must love getting a full day out of life. I occasionally wake before 6am and can't get back to sleep. Knocking off at 10-11pm is great. Which is the polar opposite to my younger years when I had too much energy to sleep, all nighters were common.

I struggle to get up at 5am for work every other week, I'm not a early morning person. On late shift I get up at 9am so get alot more sleep.
