On a slightly divergent note, my brother loaned me his car for my honeymoon - it was a specially imported Toyota MR2 turbo, with hardened /race level suspension.

Fine for me, alas my (new) wife was 3 months pregnant, not happy about the way I took corners, or the ride, or the engine noise, lack of luggage space, or about how difficult it was for her to get into or out of the car. There is just no pleasing some people, after all we I didn't crash and kill us!

However, at one point we pulled up at the lights alongside two ‘yoof’ in an XR3i, who decided to rev their engine and look over. She said to me ‘when the lights change, floor it!’ So I did, there was quite a considerable degree of lag until the turbo decided to cut in - and we blew past the Ford.

On reflection this may not have been a good strategy, what with my new wife and future daughter on board.

Was quite exciting though.

Somebody on my road has a black one, cab driver. It's soo good looking. Is there a reason why you went for red?

I went to see wicked the musical in the theater in London, Apollo Victoria, this evening or yesterday evening now. I've never really got into plays but I managed to stay in tune with the storyline with it being soo damn loud. Impressive nonetheless. Paranormal activity caught my eye :Yikes:

Fair enough. Are you worried it'll fade over time or is that not a thing anymore with new paint.

May even be the reason I tend to go for Orange, it depends on what colour your team play in ;)

My Austin MG Metro changed colour, from silver to rust brown all over.I preferred the rust brown tbh.

But then it disapoeared in a puff of rust on a windy day. British manufacturing at its best.
