I'd ignore the date (2013!), but looks like Sky Sports 5 will be in HD.

Also, on another forum someone with a magnifying glass has looked at the promo advert from Sky and deduced a launch date of 12th August.

All good news we're getting it and I'd imagine it'll fit straight into the existing sports package? But ...

What on earth will they have to put on it??!? They're copying with 4 channels perfectly and they're losing more rights next year!?

Aye they're saying European football but sky only have the rights to la liga haven't they? Maybe they should change the description from a "channel showcasing European football" to "a channel showcasing la liga only..."

Unless MB is aware of sky sports about to capture bundesliga, French ligue, serie A? I thought BT sport had just recently won these rights tho
