 it's nice being looked after. Praying for an update is belittling of yourself after paying premium is an absolute embarrassment.

Same here re: ROMs. I found Xiaomi the easiest to mod with ROMs and root.

Long live Google :drunk:

You can download direct from Nord and Telegram. Updates are then done in-app. No Google store needed. That's how I noticed how applications are closed and opened again automatically.

17 will be your last Android version update for a Pixel 6.

I'm thinking of getting a pixel fold when the 6 pro says goodbye to updates. Any advice on said device?

Personally I'd not touch a phone with a plastic foldable screen with a barge pole, in my opinion it'll always look dodgy and the plastic will eventually fail or get dirt under it, but that is just my opinion so you need to find proper reviews for longevity.

plus they cost an absolute fortune to replace the screens . Would not touch one. I got tablets I do not use so a bigger screen phone not for me

Just for reference just because Google stops updates it does not mean the community does. There will be up to date ASOP roms available if you enjoy playing. Once you unlock the bootloader and get a custom recovery installed you can play to your hearts content

Got the portable aircon unit rigged up in the bedroom venting hot humid air up a disused chimney. Going to be a blessing in the next few days.

I had a Total Knee Replacement last May, so went to see the Consultant this morning for x-rays and check-up - all’s good in the hood.

I’ve been having some tightness and discomfort over the last month, so he asked me to do various postures (flexing the knee, slow crouch down, and he manually flexed my knee sideways and back and forth).

He said it takes around 18 months for the knee to "settle down" after surgery, so it should improve slightly, but he was very happy with my knee flexibility, and said it was probably in the top 5% of post-surgery knees for flexibility (for all age groups).

Nice to know doing post-op physio exercises twice a day* (after 15 actual physio sessions) paid off..; :D

*still doing them once a day now

The Sun is where it's always been (discounting all the movement of an expanding universe) . . you should be asking "where did these clouds come from?" :D
