My new water butt, has filled up very nicely today. Over 100 litres off the garage roof. Not that I need to water anything now....

I've seen puffins today on the Yorkshire coast . All the way from Iceland, they've chosen God's own county for their summer hols, very wise.

Yeah, but what are you like at "Manic Miner' ? A true test of skill.

Android 17 just dropped, downloading now on my Pixel.

I like the new close app and reopen when updates are installed. Theres now a transition not a boring close and reopen. Bubbles look good. The CPU needs a workout after all

I haven't noticed any visual differences yet.

Edit
Just saw the update notification, it's nice.

My pixel 6 pro got the same update to my surprise. The old thing still has legs in it :D

You can download direct from Nord and Telegram. Updates are then done in-app. No Google store needed. That's how I noticed how applications are closed and opened again automatically.

I could download direct from Nord before I updated.

Vivaldi showed a message and a circle saying it was updated though and that was new but I initiated it via Google play store.

What annoys me there isn't an icon I can just click for Google updates I have to faff around opening the playstore and clicking around 4 times to update.

Pixel being raw android will have longevity beyond everyone else. To me it only makes sense buying from the source of the OS and trust me I have had my years playing with roms and cooking . I remember many moons ago installing Gingerbread on a HTC HD2 which was a Windows phone. First it dual booted of a micro SD card then eventually you could flash a rom to it. Awesome times
