The additional BT Sport 1 HD and E! HD take up the first two of the three vacant slots discovered yesterday.

We are betting on that final vacant slot going to CNBC HD.

We also feel E! HD will launch on August 15th. (Base on past tests).

We are waiting on more information coming in via DBR or Forum Box about that new BT Sport 1 HD Channel that appeared on Thursday.

But Media Boy HQ is starting to think it for EPL Football to broadcast in Northern Ireland on Saturdays at 3pm (That all we can think of).

I’d be surprised if Northern Ireland got the 3pm kick offs. While no rule prevents it, or in Wales for that matter, these games haven’t been available digitally on cable or Sky in NI.

Back in the day the free to air terrestrial broadcasts were available from RTE but that was it.

JJ20X via Forum Box thinks -

(New BT Sport 1 HD) would be rights to Irish sporting events across the island of Ireland.
JJ20X is also reporting on Forum Box that the new BT Sport 1 HD channel has been given Channel 527 (The same as the one we have right now).

So that is why we are waiting on more information coming in via DBR or Forum Box about that new BT Sport 1 HD Channel that appeared on Thursday.

Me too, highly unlikely.

I’m surprised the remaining +1’s, Sky News Arabia and Sky Racing HD are not part of the deal.

After that other BT Sport 1 HD and E! HD only one vacant slot is confirmed but that do not mean that Virgin Media UK has added more vacant slots that JJ20X or anyone else do not know of.

For talking sake at time of posting (Source JJ20X/Forum Box.):

01. BT Sport 1 HD
02. E! HD
03. vacant
04. Sky Sports Red Button

---------- Post added at 19:55 ---------- Previous post was at 19:52 ----------

For all we know maybe that vacant slot may become Sky Sports Racing HD but everyone has forgot Comcast also own CNBC HD.

Me too, I thought that Pick +1 and Sky 1 +1 would have been added. Are we missing any other Sky channels now (apart from SA)? I believe that Sky have sold off Sky Poker.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2019)

Also Sky News Arabia is only 50% own by Sky.

Does that mean we will be able to record SS red button coverage? If so it is about time, you have been able to do this on sky for years!

Any idea then the sky contract starts? With sports in UHD do we expect the SD sky sports channels to be removed in order to fit in UHD versions?
