Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.
I don't know what I'll do over the weekend without my regular hourly visits to check if media boy has posted or there's been any announcements.
Shame no one can see what the testing channels are...didnt it used to be a lot easier to spy onto those things then it was analogue? |

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.
Just curious.
What would people rather see? BT included in XL as ESPN was OR BT Sports available as a stand alone at the extra price but with Atlantic , History , Universal etc. added to replace ESPN in the XL TV pack. |
Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.
Why on earth would BT Sports be included in XL, it's entire existence is based around people moving to BT BB to get it free
They're not going to let you watch it without BT BB without paying £12/£15. Good lord. |

Possibly true too but if you're wrong good sir it truly will be clobbering time for you on the forum! green inferno- definitely BT sports in XL. Sky Atlantic is something i'd like but there also seems to be a lot of filler. Depends on individual tastes tho. |

They want broadband customers or money, being in XL gets them none of the first and very little of the second. |

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.
I for one would be happy to see BT sports as an optional add on.
People would then be free to evaluate the content, and decide if the additional cost is value for money or not. I love sports and enjoy Sky sports, but would check the content before committing to any additional cost for BT. Sky Atlantic could be included in VIP collection, using the savings made from ESPN. Another possibility is that Virgin could offer both BT and VA free for the first year, provided that a new contract is signed. Thus protecting revenue against any additional costs. |

That would get them £360,000 a month, the same as 30,000 customers at £12 a month (or 24,000 HD customers at £15). Somehow I can imagine there will be a lot more people than 30,000 wanting BT Sport on Virgin. |
