Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
To be brutally honest though, there was no way WWE or Taker was going to let the streak end to someone like Reigns in case they bombed. Looking back, I bet they are glad that Punk didn't end the streak the way he walked out.
It was always going to be someone like Brock. |

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
Just watched a great documentary on the WWE Network called Ultimate Warrior, The Ultimate Legend. It's probably one of the best WWE documentaries I've seen.
It's a behind the scenes look at Warriors Hall of Fame week through to the point of his passing. It was great to see him put his demons to bed one by one, and renew old friendships, before his life abruptly ended. I was surprised to see Sting in the documentary discussing his relationship with the Warrior and his death. HHH and Vince McMahon are really struggling to keep it together at the end. If you have access to the WWE Network you really need to catch this. Alternatively it's available via the 2 main wrestling torrent trackers. |
Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
I watched it last night too - probably the greatest WWE documentary I've ever seen. Genuine emotion from Vince and HHH and it easily buried the Self Destruction DVD.

Watched WWE Legends House last night. It's WWE meets Big Brother. Rowdy Roddy Piper, Tony Atlas, Mean Gene Okerlund, Jimmy Hart, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Hillbilly Jim, Howard Finkel and Pat Patterson living together in Palm Springs. Not totally sold on it however the best bit was mad mental Gary Busey popping round for a spot of meditation and breakfast :D I don't really watch WWE at all now, I just tend to drop in and out. The WWE Network is great for those who love documentaries and love action from the 80's and 90's. Infamous Gimmicks and Biggest Blunders where also fun watches from their Countdown series. This needs to come to the UK on a official capacity. |
Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
WWE does have a UK office.
I've got no interest in watching the Legends House. I watched the first season of Total Divas as I'm always interested in the behind-the-scenes stuff but Season 2 started a few weeks ago and I've got no interest in that either. That and LH just seem a bit 'meh' for me. |
Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
WWE won't be using the term PPV anymore. Companies are pulling out from selling them too. More people watched on WWE network than they did TV PPV. There's talks Raw will move to Spike TV but if it does it'll only be short term. It seems inevitable now that once the WWE Network launches worldwide that all WWE programming will be removed from TV and solely broadcasted on the WWE Network.
It's likely WWE programming will continue in certain countries though where internet and payment options are a problem. The live shows will still be riddled with ad breaks unfortunately. In other news, Daniel Bryan somehow found himself Double Booked. He's due in Japan and New York on the same night. |

£6 a month for the WWE Network with all that content including special events/PPV Or £15 each PPV and whatever you pay to Sky to access Sky Sports. I have no idea what ondigital tried if you wish to educate me on both the idea and the outcome. Too young to have paid attention. As for the filling up without repeats. They're trying that with their own TV shows which to be fair are horrible. Its obvious WWE are coming to an end of dealing with TV deals and the 600,000 subs signed up to see WM30 over the 400,000 on TV show it's already started. |
Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
Brits Mason Ryan, Oliver Grey and Martin Stone have been released from NXT.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
No idea where the Cena - Wyatt thing is heading but I've enjoyed Wyatt, I can see why they chose Cena though, biggest guy in the company and who better to put Wyatt way over.
Surprisingly enjoying the 3MB - Hornswoggle thing  Evolution vs the Shield is a no brainer, unless you really have it in for WWE. Lastly, Kane vs D-Bryan just isn't doing it for me. Bryan's fine but didn't they do this storyline with Cena and Kane not so long ago? Another opponent please. |
