Re: The Happy Thought Thread

I love being in London on a Friday. I don't go home until late evening. I'm generally the only person about in my town

Re: The Happy Thought Thread

2 years ago i bought a battery powered Bosch lawnmower EasyRotak 36-550 and it was a game changer for how easy it was to cut my grass, it was so much easier.

Unfortunately when I tried to use it a month ago it wouldn't run unless I tilted it 45 degrees! Luckily I registered it to get a free extended 3 year warranty and I sent it back for repair on Tuesday and I've just had an email to say they won't be repairing and will replace with a new unit or it's nearest match if my model isn't available so that's my Happy thought.

As a follow up to my 'rant' in the "moans & pet hates" thread, I'm pleased to say that my VM woes are - for the time being - behind me, although it took a couple of tries.

First call about the new contract resulted in a female trying to push upgrades at me, difficult to understand most of the time, the resulting offer was (over 2 years term) fairly good, however when the confirmation Email arrived I saw I'd been given some strange unrequested 'add ons'.
Knowing I had a 14 day grace period I waited a few days then rang to query the contract. This time a chap I could understand better went through it all, removing the crap I hadn't asked for, and the end result is a price much better than I'd hoped for.

I understand prices do need to rise, but the lady sneaking a few extras in has actually led to me getting a better deal than I had over the last 2 years. ;)

She's always right, even when she knows she's wrong. Part of the marriage deal as I understand it :erm:

Lego raised its age range to 100+ for David Attenbrough and I think it is a lovely thing to have done

First thing I have read as I come online this morning. As I get older I find I am normally waking up to bad news.

This made me smile, thanks Jay. xx
