Which part of "no spoilers for 24 hours" isn't clear?

It was easily the worst Rumble ever. Xpac heat for a lot of the guys as they made their entrance to the ring. It seems like the only purpose of the RR match itself was to put Roman Reigns over (which I think worked) and for who won it. Having one or two surprise entrants was ok (Grecian 2000 much?) but an utterly dire event.

Word is doing the rounds that CM Punk has left WWE legit.

Yes, I gather he told Vince during RAW he didn't want to do it any more and walked out. He has been removed from all house shows, and apparently was due to be in the Chamber match but was replaced as he has left.

Sad day if he has gone for good, he is one of my favourites.

Tired of part-time stars returning and getting main event pushes, promises of headlining Wrestlemanias not materialising, only being given time off when injured, plenty of reasons really.

I can see his point though about the part timers coming back and getting push after push. Yet the 2 best athletes on the entire roster, Punk and D Bry, are being held back because their faces don't fit.

I'm seriously worried about the product once Vince dies. Triple H will run it into the ground. Much as he is my all time favourite wrestler, I think his business skills are rubbish.

Some good wrestling rumors on this site:

Not sure how many are true however

I'm also getting the impression WWE is heading in the wrong direction and can only get worse. I've been annoyed at PG for some time now but it was something I could live with. PPV's can generally be hit and miss but the Royal Rumble was just something else. Punk leaving is just the start but I disagree with the Batista thing, he has something to give and can make an effort like everyone else. I don't agree with the Rumble win but still he's a mile ahead of some idiot like Lesnar.

Lesnar then, look at this guy in the ring, he's hopeless, the MMA thing is just awful and he looks completely dead after 5 minutes. The rumours of having him pull off a match with Taker at WM30 make me want to boycott it already. Have lesnar fake kimura him for 40 minutes? No thanks. Cena or Bryan please.

Reigns going on his own should provide something for a while though.

This is the problem when Vince no longer has a promoter with deeper pockets than his own as competition....

It's not a problem Russ, just stop watching it, I did years ago and if enough others do the same things will change.

Worst business decision EVER by Vince. Cannot believe he is spending money on that washed up has been.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)

He's a has-been in terms of in-ring ability (he won't wrestle or even do a run-in as he failed the wellness tests) but his name still has brand value. He'll forever be the first (and some say biggest) worldwide wrestling 'superstar' but the timing of this indicates it's more a case of Vince using him for the launch of the Network - rumour is he'll be on Raw this Monday along with the return of the Undertaker.
