'Ballack Offered Record Deal'

Man Utd are reportedly set to offer Michael Ballack a deal that would make the German the highest-paid player in the history of the Premiership. Ballack will be available on a Bosman free next summer but he could still cost Man Utd a cool £30m.

I personally think that would be an outstanding signing for Fergie, if he gets him. I suspect that Real Madrid will be keeping a very close eye on him as well and jump in to snatch him away.
Ballack is a world class performer and united are lacking that a bit at the minute.

An Arsenal fan walks past a shop and sees the video "Arsenal the glory years".... he goes in and asks how much... the shopkeeper says £150.00 ... thats a bit steep aint it, why is it so expensive... well its £10.00 for the video and £140.00 for the Betamax recorder. :D

Man Utd may be reportedly set to offer Michael Ballack a £30m deal that would make the German the highest-paid player in the history of the Premiership, but the German midfielder is now hinting that he may stay at Bayern Munich after all.

well if we get Ballack that will be great.. would love to see us get someone younger but who else is there.. if we get him at least we will be thinking long term rather than missing out on yet another target

Abramovich orders probe into Chelski 'crisis'

If it's possible for a multi-billionaire to throw his toys out of the pram then Chelski owner Roman Abramovich has done it after ordering a probe into the table-toppers' apparent 'slump'. Oh the utter indignity of losing a match in the Premiership!

[...]

The findings of the probe are unknown, but presumably they may go something along the lines of 'even if you spend £300m your club still might lose the occasional football match.'

Keane Out And Captain Ballack In This Summer?
ManYoo have reportedly decided not to offer Roy Keane a new deal.

The Sun says the club will let the Irishman leave next summer when his present contract expires but only after giving 'their skipper a £5million testimonial at the end of this season as a golden farewell.'

ccording to The Daily Mirror, Ferguson 'is ready to offer Michael Ballack the Manchester United captaincy to ensure he wins the race to sign the German midfielder.

The paper says that ManYoo are 'convinced' Ballack will sign a pre-contract agreement with them in January.
