Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4

It's been nearly a month since my self-imposed Facebook ban.

I haven't missed it.

There have been some world events I wanted to comment on, but resisted.

I did make one post though on my sisters birthday to post a few embarrassing pictures, then re-enabled quite mode.

I will post again on what would have been my mum & dads 58th wedding anniversary.

I'm planning on going back on the 15th of August as this would have been my mums 78th birthday.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4

So last night I was down and miserable (see pet hates thread) but this morning I have had a lift. 3 weeks ago I bought 48" jeans. I wear them over my spare tyre so I do not sell crack to the world. They were tight to wear but that was fine I bought them to fit later which a week or so later they did. Today I decided to try on some smaller interim goal trousers and to my surprise they fit perfectly. I looked at the size and they were 44". I thought they might be just big so would try on another pair. Not 1 but 2 size 44" trousers fit perfectly so literally lost 4" off my waist in a weekish

I Have lost 19lb in 5 weeks and it appears most of it has come off my spare tyre which to be fair is the biggest bulk of what is left to lose

Painful if you're Scottish.

It was painful, only watched the first half, that was enough. :(

Doing a quick stock check and evaluation on my 26 fountain pens

A rough price of £1,500, 5 are worth at least £760.

I will one day add a Conway Stewart Churchill Ed, or the Alan Turin Ed. each i current worth around £600.

You can't beat a fountain pen.

Being a lefty renders a fountain pen useless to me I learnt that in primary school when the bloody teacher forced us to use the damn things ever so often.
