No change in Chadderton tried rebooting my Samsung box a few times this evening but no change. Has anyone in the Oldham area seen an increase apart from t'engineer?

2nd 512K took 2374 ms = 215.7 KB/sec, approx 1777 Kbps, 1.74 Mbps
3rd 512K took 2373 ms = 215.8 KB/sec, approx 1778 Kbps, 1.74 Mbps
4th 512K took 2744 ms = 186.6 KB/sec, approx 1538 Kbps, 1.5 Mbps

Overall Average Speed = approx 1691 Kbps, 1.65 Mbps

Yes i called and said i wanted to cancel my broadband because i could get faster speeds for the same price elsewere so they lowered my monthly broadband bill.:)

Was thinking of doing something similar, but with a virgin in white flowing robes - couldn't find one anywhere round here though!

My results

1st 512K went to market
2nd 512K stayed at home
3rd 512K had roast beef
4th 512K had none

Overall Average Speed = wee wee wee all the way home.

WOW, it's 10:25 and nobody has posted since just after 8:00... I am at work now but I can only imagine that the entire NTL network has ground to a halt and nobody can access the forums LOL!

Are you on an STB or modem? Im guessing of the people in our area that HAVE been upgraded, they are on STB's.

Still on 2MB here in Houghton Regis, near Dunstable. When they said they were "upgrading on the morning of whatever it was", I thought I would wake up to 4MB. Obviously not!!
