Interesting that QVC have a HD license:

Updated today. Don't know why it states +1 though?

Are any of those VM tests QVC HD? Have any tests been spotted on any other platform for that matter?

Does anyone ever watch these shopping channels? I haven`t watched one for years. And when I say watched I mean it was on in the background.

EE are starting out from scratch and are considered a more budget offering I doubt 4K is even on their radar. The new box Sky brings out will be 4K who knows when that will be let's face it early demand isn't going to be massive.

Both Sky and VM's current STB's have a good few more updates in them yet I'm sure.

Dave, there's always a chance mate, you can't just say it'll never happen, imo it will come, we may need to wait a while, but I think eventually it will be on VM.

QVC have a HD channel in USA so i think it's only a matter of time before it comes to UK.

Very unlikely to happen though - esp. when BT are giving out free sport to BT BB customers and XL VM customers.

Yes they do vm and tt just won't pay what Sky are asking VM tend to want everything their own way then cry foul when a company says "you can have this but it's going to cost a bit more" vm are at fault for SA not being on vm no-one else.
I can't speak for talktalk but i eat my hat if SA appeared on vm before talktalk .

Interestingly, Comcast (owners of Universal) and Liberty Global (owners of Virgin Media) are collaborating on the next generation of cable boxes according to Spiderplant. It's a shame that their subsidiaries aren't so co-operative.

Well you could also say it is Sky's fault. as they seem to think the channel is worth more than what everyone else thinks. eg Sky want £24 Million for the cannel but VM and TT think its only worth £18 million so no way would they pay what Sky are looking for.

Shame they can't do the same for Plusnet customers; BT Sport is only available for them via a Sky receiver.
