Re: VIP/VIP+ New and Improved VIP Package

Can I just add one thing before going back to topic about mates rates? When I worked for O2 they had staff packages and also Family and Friends packs as well. So this is just not limited to one company as they all are at it?

Also I'am unable to begrudge anyone who takes up the pack that is offered to them?

If you're that badly paid, why do you have Virgin Media? I think you need to prioritise things.

Most jobs offer some form of perks for staff. It's good for staff moral. I worked for an airline and we got travel concessions.:)

Seems a reasonable staff perk to give.

It does mean that if you ever leave VM you'll lose all your mates though, because they'll have to pay full price :D

Why moan about staff members who get perks as they deserve it.

It's no longer promoted

Considering VIP 30 with TiVo and Sky HD was more expensive than VIP 50....

---------- Post added at 16:00 ---------- Previous post was at 15:58 ----------

The sold VIP bundle is always supposed to be the top of everything. It was only due to the staggered rollout of 50Mbit that two different ones ran along side each other.

Staggered rollout of 100Mbit will end up doing the same

If you add them to the basket the quoted monthly is way out!

Good to see they have updated the site though.

So what is the monthly cost if I upgrade from VIP20 to VIP50 (+Tivo) - website says £108.54 plus tivo activation fee (£149?) ? Is this right as this thread seems to indicate £105.54 plus the activation fee?

Also is it right that my current V+ box could be moved to replace the current V box so would end up with Tivo and V+ ?

The price of VIP50 is £100.55, then you would have to pay the price for the Tivo which is £149.95 or£49.95.
If you went for the tivo you would be able to keep the V+ as well as I have a tivo and a V+ on VIP50.
Hope this helps you

Ps you don't have to pay the £3 pm tivo charge on VIP50 so the price is £100.55.

Re: VIP/VIP+ New and Improved VIP Package

Time sort out our VIP package. Currently paying £108.54 for 2 x V+ STB's, with 20MB connection (Started off with VIP20 package)

I would like to upgrade to VIP (with 50mb) but downgrade one of the V+ to a VHD.

What would the costs be to downgrade one V+ to VHD and upgrade internet to the 50mb connection ?.

Had a look on VM site but no idea where the costs are to change package.

TIA

Scott
