Looks like half of this Leeds side are Jason Lee fans.:D

And one of them has just used his pineapple to head past his own keeper.:D

That's for VVD amongst other things - fantastic result.

Thuggish side beaten by sheer class

Another man with a straight red and even everyone's darling DCL gets a booking.

If you follow a proper football league Den, it's not a factor ;)
Refs like players are fallible, all part of the game.

Re: 2020/2021 season

In a bewildering turn of events, Mike Ashley launches attack on Premier League PPV and Sky over £14.99 pricing, demanding it be lowered to a fiver a game.

Absolutely nothing to do with trying to paint a good guy image and him in the process of a legal battle with the Premier League.

To add to the Premier League's current woes, they've been served a second legal summons this morning by a leading sports lawyer representing Newcastle United fans (not the club) backed by a currently anonymous donor. Odds on Fat Mike. Their papers are served on the basis they believe the Premier League broke UK anti-competition law by allowing 9 Premier League clubs to interfere in the process. Two of which are named as Liverpool and Tottenham by Staveley and Ashley.

Hot on the heels of the Project big picture disaster, this seems very timed and calculated.

Even better, shaky start but thumping the Bundesliga leaders is no mean feat. Arise Sir Marcus.

Did you know that the FA wanted England to drop Nobby Stiles for a bad challenge v France in 66 World Cup and Sir Alf Ramsey said ok but if you do I will resign.

Nobby Stiles stayed and the rest is history.:)

Re: 2020/2021 season

Bad challenge, never, I had read that. My eternal image of the World Cup 66 is not Bobby Moore being held aloft but Nobby, socks round his ankles, front teeth missing skipping along the pitch with the cup.:)
