Re: Season 2018/2019
Well one thing is for sure, a similar game at Old Trafford or Anfield would be far better supported.;)

So how many times have you been to Anfield or Old Trafford. The pies and snacks at Old Trafford are very good, no sandwiches for us on the terraces either. The prawn sandwich brigades are all safe in their boxes. ;)

Re: Season 2018/2019
I see that BT have chosen the Celtic game and not Arsenal for tonight’s UHD 4K broadcast. Still as there are nearly as many empty seats at the Emirates as last nights game at the Emptihead stadium and Celtic Park is full you can’t blame them.:)

According to one poster on the BBC football forums he rang to try and get tickets the day before and was told it was sold out.

Re: Season 2018/2019
Could just be that people with season tickets didn't show. If I remember right, Arsenal Season tickets include these cup games and would explain this. They're not optional. They can be resold as individual games through Arsenal's ticket exchange but I can bet some people just can't be arsed on a Thursday night in London against some duff team. With 40000 season tickets already sold, that's 40000 seats before it's even reached general sale. After away fans, sponsorships and premium stuff, I'm guessing around 12,000 actually make it to public sale. Which wouldn't be hard to just assume they did in fact sell out.

Re: Season 2018/2019
United season tickets only include European Champions League and FA Cup games as compulsory. You can opt out of Europa and League Cup matches. The downside to that is that if they reach the semis and finals you have less ‘credits’ on your account.
So why only 40,000 at the Emptyead Adz? ---------- Post added at 10:49 ---------- Previous post was at 10:27 ---------- The Arsenal supporters trust is trying to get the club to sort it out, fat chance. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...-tickets-fans/ |
Re: Season 2018/2019
Usually take the tram to Old Trafford, a no brainer as it is free. As it was a 3:00pm kick off today I decided I would drive down to give the car a chance to clear it lungs with a bit of the old 'Italian tune up' down the motorway. I parked at the huge Lowry Outlet Malls a 15 minute walk from the ground. I did suggest to the missus that if there was another 3:00pm kick off she could come with me, I would go to the match and she could have a couple of hours of retail therapy.
After today I have decided that if I ever drive down again she can go to the match and I will go shopping. Wolves very lively going forward and fully deserved a point, if not more, United very poor. |
Re: Season 2018/2019
Do you think United will get in the top 4 this season Jim?.

Re: Season 2018/2019
Can’t see it ATM.:(
Must add it was great to see SFA back in his seat, a very warm round of applause from everyone including all the Wolves fans. |

Re: Season 2018/2019
Outplayed and outgunned by Derby at home is nothing short of dire. The players are there but they're just not playing. Mourinho surely can't be on again after this season. Something has to change.
