Or it could just be that the characters are related, but played by the same actress. That has been done twice before:

Freema Agyeman first played Adeola Oshodi in "Army of Ghosts", before later playing Adeola's cousin Martha Jones.

Eve Myles first played Gwyneth in "The Unquiet Dead", before later playing Gwen Cooper in Torchwood. Although not officially related, they of course looked identical, which Davies claimed was due to "spatial genetic multiplicity" caused by the Rift.

Wasn't it revealed in the season 4 finale of Doctor Who that Gwyneth and Gwen were actually related?

It was a decent episode,

just one flaw, the whole Statue of Liberty thing..........utterly pointless.

Oh, come on! A story about statues, set in New York. It had to be done. :D

That's true. Something tells me that the Statue of Liberty is the main one.

You mean no-one, in the whole of New York, might notice it?

Maybe it had one of those perception filter things that the TARDIS has so people don't notice it

More importantly, what happened to you Dilli? Not seen a post from you for ages, although I've not been on CF much lately. I thought that episode was the best of this season thus far. I'm hoping the writers stay on the ball. Excellent so far with the exception of A Town Called Mercy (IMHO). Didn't think much of that.

Its been confirmed on the official site, that the Christmas episode will have new credits, a new version of the theme and a totally new look TARDIS console room.

We can’t give too much away about the new-look titles except to say they are wonderfully dramatic and striking, with a couple of unexpected touches. In short, they’re a perfect way to welcome back the Doctor!

And fans of the famous Doctor Who theme tune needn’t worry… This new arrangement remains true to the original, written by Ron Grainer back in 1963, but on Christmas Day you’ll hear it as it’s never sounded before. This latest version is more thrilling and powerful but retains that slightly scary quality that remains stirring no matter how many times you catch it.
I really like it, seems a lot more like the original console, back to buttons and levers and not bits of junk :) a lot darker looking too.
