Re: What would you like in the next Tivo update?

I think that last part is inaccurate. If it goes through the regular part of the TiVo interface (i.e. it isn't an app) then it users a tuner. Catchup TV, Music On Demand, requires a spare tuner to operate. YouTube and iPlayer app don't.

That is not what i meant.

I meant would people like to see ITV net player app , 4OD App and demand 5 app work the same as the BBC iplayer app currently does.

BBC iplayer app does not use a tuner.

Re: What would you like in the next Tivo update?

Couple of things that have already been covered;

Consecutive recordings on same channel by one tuner.

Grouping of recordings by season within the shows own folder.

Ability to delete "deleted recordings" in one rather than show by show. (I know they are automatically deleted but I'm a bit OCD about it)

The option to wishlist an entire season rather than by a show at a time.

An option to say "I love this show bit have seen all the episodes, so no need to record them as suggestions but find me similar stuff" ( probably a wish too far)

And finally MLB.tv as an app. It's available on the PS3 in America so it must be able to be implemented on TIVO as well.

I would like to create my own folders with names that I assign them; record the programme and assign the folder they will appear in at the same time; delete a bunch of programmes from anywhere by highlighting and then deleting in one fell swoop; cancel the series records set by the TIVO in the suggestions folder instead of having to laboriously delete them one by one as they record; set my own buffers in one go rather than have to series record and then go back and re-set the first programme, then the second programme, etc. I'd be quite happy with that!

Oh, and if the display on 'My Shows' could tell me how much disk space I have left for my own recordings, ignoring the Suggestions and Deleted folders, I would actually know how much room I really had to record more stuff!

You can do this by creating WishLists to record the programme, and giving the WishList a name (the last field on the screen). The folder gets the same name.

Just press Clear on each one. It marks it for deletion, then moves on to the next one so you can nip through them. It deletes them in its own time.

Simply leave them there. They are doing no harm.

Give them the thumbs down if it keeps recording Suggestions you don't like.

That is what it does. Suggestions and Deleted don't count in the space.
