Re: Sky or VM for TV???
I have to agree with Alan Fry, and l have said this all along.
If VM added extra channels then hey would be better than Sky, VM need the guts tio take on Sky in there own back yard, and may get extra customers, VM has a lot going for it, BUT its the channels that let it down. |

Re: Sky or VM for TV???
So far there are channels around that are NOT on VM, MGM, Atlantic, Premier Sports etc that customers do want.
But VM won't get them, could be that they are in 'talks' Customer want these channels, but VM won't get them. |

My priority is quality television, which, sadly, doesn't seem to be Virgin Media's. |
Re: Sky or VM for TV???
Sky Atlantic free to all sky tv customers until April 2012 ?
http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showp...15&postcount=1 Virgin Media will have a better chance of getting if it to goes into Sky's Entertainment Extra pack or becomes a premium channel on Sky. |

And the joy of personal preferences is that one man's meat is another man's murder, and either is unlikely to convince the other.......
(no matter how many times they try). |
Re: Sky or VM for TV???
Even with their Tivo, On Demand and TV packages if they don't show the programmes you want to see and Sky's output does then there can be no comparison.
There is no first run programme I couldn't see as a Sky customer which I could as a virgin media customer - the reverse is not the case. |
Re: Sky or VM for TV???
But some people aren't bothered about those - you may be, but one size does not fit all.
You have your preferences, and Sky is right for you - others have other preferences, and VM is right for them. Jeez, it's only TV programmes, after all. |
