I bet he passed it to the keeper....Berbatov has been teaching penalty practise.

Carrick taking penalties, an ineffective Owen being taken off in place of donkey, and this is against Burnley.

We're not taking the premiership this season.

I think it's extremey early yet to make comments, the first few games are always a gamble...

But with a few minutes left it looks like MU are gonna be beat... But a side like Burnley will always fight in their first few games after promotion

Man Utd have been awful, not good.

Liverpool will be happy, 3 - 0 win against stoke and back on a level pegging with United.

As I said it's a new season gamble...

I'm a Man city supporter, have been since birth as I was born in Moss-side :)

But as usual I expect City to do good for the first few games then go into self destruct mode...but I have a feeling that this season might be different...only time will tell

Defoe's bagged himself a hat-trick against Hull.

Maybe now SAF will pull his finger out of his behind and sign a striker who can actually score? Rooney was everywhere tonight but he was alone up front.

He has so far won 3 titles in a row, last year beating a very good Liverpool side to it. You have lost one game. Give SAF some credit...:erm:

Credit for not replacing the firepower that helped get us those titles?

Absolutley inept display. Only Giggs looked like he realised who he is playing for. It was a Championship game, at least Burnley have an excuse for it.

We need a really decent central Midfielder and a Left Winger, and everyone bar Ferguson seems to realise it.

Only Ferguson can go 4-4-2 with no wingers in the side, he takes the biscuit at times with team selections.

I'm not gonna be able to live that down at Greenbelt. How the f*** did we lose to Burnley of all teams?!?!?
