a 9 page thread on how not to get a woman, hands up those with partners that have ever done something like this, answer, (quite probably) zero. It's not treasure hunt and you're not Anneka Rice, this sort of thing just .. happens, if it doesn't happen for years, then it doesn't happen but over analysing it to death is not going to speed the process up.

That's just what you need IMO Kronas...Lighten up - I'm nearly 30, and haven't settled yet - but I have had some wonderful relationships and just because they ended, none of them were a waste of time. When I was your age I was living in the Canary Islands, making sure I was as young free and (happily) single as I could possibly be. If you lose this ideal you seem to have of the right person, on the right level, with the right ethics and morals, you may find yourself actually havng some fun.

Absolutely spot on OB. Wishing yourself into stable relationships is almost like wishing your life away. It will happen in its own time.

IMHO the period of your life from 18-25 is probably one of the best parts of your life as its when your likley to have the least responsibilities and you might actually have some money too. Just get out and enjoy the freedom you have while you can, one day when your shacked up with someone got debts pouring out of your ears and little Kronies running around and destroying everything you might actually look back and wish you were at this point in your life again.

OK, I'm going to say it like it is. No offence meant, please take it in the manner it's intended (advisory):

Kronas: You need to get

a) drunk and/or
b) stoned and/or
c) laid

I can't believe someone is so young, so hung up and clueless, yet still think they know what they want is best. Come down a level or two, you might like it.

Just live your life.Go out and be yourself.Stamp on the darker aspects of your nature and be yourself.Stop THINKING for a while.

It's a pity you don't drink actually because perhaps you do need to 'lose' it for a while.Stop your overactive mind functioning for a while and be you.Lose the inhibitions and whoop and holler through the streets.It's what you are supposed to do when you are 18.

It's what I did and boy did I feel better for it.Let it go kronas and stop trying to sit on top of your emotions.Let them out.Scream them out to the world.

I'm sorry, but I disagree strongly ( as ever :p: :D ).

We have enough problems as a country/society with drunkeness. Encouraging people to get drunk is grossy irresponsible in my opinion. (yes, before you ask, I've been drunk a few times before, and I regret every time it happened).
Stoned? Illegal, no comment required.
And sex, yes, it's great, but only when enjoyed in the right setting. If kronas is to find fulfilment and enjoyment in his life I suggest he'll be spending his time most wisely making friends and enjoying the more constructive things available.

If I'm unhappy with life, all those things are just escapism, a fleeting pleasure is just that, fleeting.
You're always left in the same state you started with.
And using any of those things to escape from things is dangerous, especially considering that the first two can form dependancies and in fact so can the third.

Getting drunk is NOT grossly irresponsible. I've never pushed a trolley into a river, stolen a traffic cone, puked in the street....

Pray tell, what is the right setting for sex?? :confused: As long as it's not a member of your family and both parties are consenting and practice safe sex, what else do you need??
