Are you part of an outage? Some Support staff say "maintenance" when it's a power outage or something similar. was it offshore?

Upgrades to VoD wouldn't knock of 'phone and TV, plus the upgrades are done out of hours (after midnight)

Sounds like someone was very misinformed rather than fobbing off. Is there anything on the Status Page? If it's fixed it won't be there now though.

you can complain via Customer Care on 150 or through the website in "My VM"

I'm not in work, so can't check for any maintenance ongoing, but as far as I know you are not an area that's being worked on.

Unless you are part of a cab audit?

if you can get the reference number, then another member of staff on here may be able to check the ticket?

You might be part of a cab audit then? You usually get a letter though to advise before hand. If it is, it's usually finished by 5pm

I've just checked their website and clicked on the live stream for 18+ viewers, I seriously can't believe what I've just had waived in my face.

Surely this isn't the version that goes out live on SKY?

Isnt channels like Babestation and shop and quiz channels the ones that provide the money to providers. Wouldnt Virgin Media get more money if they carried them?

Let's draw a line under this before it gets way out of hand. I'm struggling to wrap this up without shooting from the hip with an innuendo.

I see Virgin Media have NOT changed the EPG for Challenge from next Thursday as it still says Take It or Leave It from Midnight. :(

I just want to put a series recording on for TNA now like you can with Sky. This is another reason why Sky is dominating cable TV. They update their EPG in the hour the program airs and at any time :(

I'm sure once Sky submit the programme changes to other platforms, it will change.

Okay hardly a replacement for the lost channels but as someone else mentioned their shows being offloaded on other channels anyway.
I've checked this thread everyday this month and virtually nothing new has been announced besides re branding, removing channels, or simply + 1. Nothing remotely new channel wise as in new channels.
But I guess you already know that.

Does anyone know if Virgin Media plan to expand their News channels line up? I would LOVE CCTV news(Chinese news channel in english) They have some amazing cultural programs that were cool to watch on Sky..

Cinemoi is a premium channel currently on a freeview. So we will lose that too cause Im not paying more as Im being robbed as it is.

And a +1 channel is counted as another channel cause they are very useful but it still doesnt make way for the deduction of 6 channels.

All i have done is try to say that 2 things are happening:

1-SYFY has got the rights to BAMMA after Bravo has closed so now that we will be able to see them in SD and HD ( not made clear in my post about it ).

2-Playhouse Disney re-brand to Disney Junior on May 7th.

And now for some reason i am the centre of a rant about what is going and also coming to VM. I was just posting on a rights change and a re-brand not a coming or going ideology :erm:

No Sky Atlantic, no Babestation, no Clubland TV, might as well commit, there's nothing left to live for

Don't get me started on this Ben. I'm a big fan of agriculture and just noticed Virgin don't carry 2 channels that I'd love.

I'll be phoning Virgin in the morning asking them to double their efforts to get "Filth" SKY channel 921 and "Dirty Talk" SKY channel 920 added to their line up. Why the farming and conservation communities haven't been on here demanding this already, I'll never know:confused:

The only thing worth watching on Sky Atlantic is Entourage and seeing as I own every single DVD of every season it hardly matters :) FWIW, the people who post on here are very informative and I thank them for their insight. I mostly read, rarely post. But please, bring ESPN America HD to VM !!!

I would not be surprised if something maybe hopefully Red Button gets an anoouncement maybe something else as sky launch Atlantic you would like to think VM may announce new arrivals of their own at the same time.

Virgin aren't stupid they know they need to continue adding things to the TV side ie TIVO , more HD , red button and more On Demand to keep churn low.

So, is Adult Swim listed as 'broadcasting soon' because of insider info or an assumption based on the Ofcom listing?
