I could not imagine having to wear glasses every time i wanted to watch tele. I have seen them in the cinemas they give you these modern cool ones but i think me and my wife would not be able to take one and other seriously if we had to look at each whilst watching tele and having a conversation lol.

Even family viewing if your set isn't the right distance from the sofa then the seats will not be the right distance apart for the viewing positions. Number of people viewing is far less important than the location of the viewing positions, and in most living rooms you simply don't have the control over the seating positions and distance from the screen that it needs, you can't adjust them on the TV, so your seating HAS TO line up with them, and that means that your 3 seater sofa has to be a specific distance away from the TV for all of the seats to be in a viewing position. |

I think you are all way off the mark. Surely the obvious choice for a HD channel would be pin help HD. Now that would be a USP worth shouting about. Rememeber your pin easier now with up to 4x more detail

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010)
I don't want anymore channels.
It is hard enough watching all the tv shows as it is. Glee , mad men, caprica, csi, the good wife, criminal minds, modern family, mentalist, big bang, true blood, etc etc More Hd will get me watching shows because of the detail. Arrrgggghhhh, damn it..go on...I will just suffer and watch more tv..I can always quit my job :) |

I had my new cards today, and to be honest, there is no difference, apart from silly +channels, and what does this NGTV mean, and l for one would be glad if they got rid of that horrible black color on the guide.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010)
Just noticed today in Grimsby, that local news (Look North) is finally on channel 101, as it should be instead of 858. Before today, I got East Midlands Today on 101. Does this mean my Headend has been changed (not sure about the correct terminology)?
