How do ntl take to people switching from direct debit to manual payment, the only reason I am on direct debit is because when I signed up I was told unless I paid by direct debit I would need to have a credit check done on me to get the service so I just agreed, but I want to switch of it now if possible.

It will cost you more. I think ntl add £2.00 per month to your bill for non Direct Debit payments

not bothered about £2 but I am bothered about the £30 bill when my direct debit didnt go through, it wasnt even my fault but the bank wont refund the charge. So I am prepared to live with the £2. :)

Isn't that a tag line in an TV advert for a bank?
