No. It's not made for x86 chips only the Power PC architecture which is completely different.
Sorry....

You could skin your PC desktop to make it look like OSX, if the look is what you are interested in.

The project to make OSX run on x86 architecture was supposedly to ensure Apple weren't left without chips for their machines if the relationship with Motorola went belly-up.
As it happens they built their G5 PowerPC chip with IBM in the end, although rumours persist that OSX for x86 is still being developed, as a gun held to M$'s head in case they ever think about dumping MS Office for Mac.

They've already made Office for X unless they change all the file formats they needn't made another version of office.
I doubt they will made OSX for PC because that would be suicide for their hardware manufacture since PCs have cheaper hardware.

If they never update Office X it could become obsolete fairly quickly ... obsolescence is part of M$'s business plan after all. Anyone trying to open the latest Word for PC files with Word 97 will know all about that.

Apple have already open-sourced the core of OS X.....it's called 'darwin' and there is an x86 port ;)

Yup, install went fine for me but i could never get the xserver running
the problem i found was getting software that ran on it, not really alot of stuff ported over to it.
XServer ran fine for me.
