Yup, i have one - you can get it from www.play.com here... £6.99 too.

If you use Windows XP DO NOT use the supplied drivers though, just plug and play, the drivers cause more problems than they are worth in XP.

Right for some reason XP will not detect the controller why?

So you plug it into your USB port and it dosent pick it up yeah?

Hmmm, all i can say is that i did install the drivers to start off with, but had problems with them, so i went throught the registry and removed the keys and the drivers from Windows, then reconnected the pad.

After that it was OK. However, this was because i left the USB specific portion of the device drivers in the XP registry so it recognised the device correctly. (I removed the rest of the drivers).

So you can install the drivers if you wish from the disk and see how you get on OR i can provide you with the keys i left in to try.

If you wish to use the Keys, i have copied out the portion of my registry that relates to the USB ID portion of the driver, which allows XP to recognise the device.

Please back up your registry, or create a system restore point BEFORE applying this and also unplug your PS2 USB device. After installing the "patches" (both of them) restart your machine, i would like to add that i have not sent this to anyone to try before either so if it all goes wrong (it shouldnt but its a possibility), im sorry... then when windows comes back up to the desktop plug in your device again, it should then be seen as a normal windows Joypad.

These patches will create two different Keys in your registry..

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\V ID_0B43&PID_0003

and

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\U SB\Vid_0b43&Pid_0003]

then propigate those keys with information relating to the joypad.

You can view the files in Notepad to make sure i am not sending you anything that would cause a security concern, just open up notepad and browse to the files to have a look, its just text.

You can get the files here.... www.scottyb.co.uk/files just right click and save as then when they are downloaded view in notepad to check im not screwing you around. If your satisfied and have created a restore point then double click each to install.

Let me know.

Ah, now i see - sorry - i thought you meant XP.

Well, if your controller is recognised by XP in the Control Panel / Game Controllers then is should also work in game.

Therefore i would suggest that this is a games related issue.

It works for me in all the games i have tried to use it with so far, Tony Hawks, NFS:U etc.

Daft question - but you did calibrate it didnt you?
