Don't know if this question has been asked before but here goe's,

I know their offering a 512 service but will it be 256 upload like their ADSL service. If so I'm want it. For the extra few quid it would be worth it for me

IIRC its exactly the same as ntl's 600kbps service ie no extra upload bandwidth.

Do they state that, I was thinking their offering the same service as their ADSL service ?

I was speaking to some AOL PR guy on the phone today and I'm 99.9% sure that the service offered is a rebadged ntl 600K service.

I think it is as of this week, but can't be 100% sure of that.

Yes, this was covered in some of the media months ago, with official quotes from AOL and ntl saying how happy they were, great chance to improve business, etc, etc. It may even have been on the nthw.com homepage. I haven't seen the service advertised for sale anywhere yet though.

Technology wise I think NTL would have probsl changing the upload speed.
