Hey all, :wavey:

Does anyone here play PES?

I bought it for my boyfriend but when he tries to play it, it goes really slow as if it was in slow motion and was totally impossible to play. Is this normal or is it my pc?

Can anyone help me speed up the play?

Could you furnish us with the spec of the machine he's playing it on? CPU speed, video card, sound card, memory etc?

Ok, im feckin useless with computers so let me know if this isnt what ur looking for or you need more info!

Pentium 4, CPU 1.60Ghz, 192MB of RAM, 192 MB of Physical memory, 784 MB of windows memory, sigmaTel Audio sound card and a Legacy video card (i think).

Mines slow as well. Here's my spec.

Processor: AMD Athalon XP 2100+
CPU: 1.74 GHZ
RAM: 1 GB
Graphics Card: nvidia geforce 4 64MB

I think thats it.

I hear the PES for the PC is buggy. Very buggy and the ppl who coded it have admitted it was a very shoddy piece of work since it their "first time" they coded it for the PC.

Works flawlessly on all of my machines, from an Athlon 64 down to an Athlon 2800+, both with Radeon 9800 pro's, installed it on a friends machine with an Athlon 2400+ and a Geforce 4 MX and it was fine on that too.

You should upgrade to the latest patch for PE3......i had this slowish prob as well but the patch fixed it and also make sure you have the latest graphics drivers :-)

Ive downloaded a patch but it didnt make any difference at all, not sure if it was the latest one tho.

If i remember right the latest patch is 1.2......fixed my slow problems...im from just outside Glasgow in Renfrew...what about u? :wavey:

As suggested above, go to the bible of PES players, www.pesfan.com Go into the PES PC forum and ask Synch what to do, he'll sort it out.
