Upload problems

Although I have FTP'd files to my homepage on NTL webspace before (albeit a few years ago) I seem to be struggling now.

I'm using Filezilla with an address of 'upload.ntlworld.com' and my username in the form 'firstname.lastname' and my password.

Unless I have entered my password incorrectly (which I'm pretty sure I haven't) can anyone suggest any other possible connection problems ??

Everything you have done looks correct and I have just connected to mine ok.

Can you post a transcript of your FTP seesion to show where it is failing ?

I've just tried to test it, and i managed to connect, but as soon as i try to get a list of files on my webspace, or upload a file, it just hangs, then eventually gives an error message, so its more than likely a problem ntl end, rather than with you

EDIT - pem beat me to it, did you try to do a test upload pem ?

EDIT2 ! - 230 User **ME** logged in.

Keebs - Yes I uploaded and downloaded a file.

Nitrox - looks like it is rejecting your password.

you are using the wrong username and password. If you have made anychages to your username then this may be the reason why. you need to call TS.

it is possible that the uid and pass you are using is not the primary uid and pass that is set up for your webspace
