View Full Version : Server dropped your connection

Hi,

I had NTL installed last week (very impressed with the install, very quick), but
I'm unable to use my webspace.

When I try to connect in Terrapin I get the message "THE SERVER DROPPED YOUR CONNECTION". I can access my email so my username and password
seems to be ok.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

Pete

1. Try using the original password that NTL sent you, rather than any password you might have changed it to for your e-mail.

2. Set Terrapin into Passive mode.

Thanks for replying.

I've just tried both of the above, but it still doesn't work. I've tried a few
other FTP clients but it just does not let me connect.
