my names Stunty, I have had NTL broadband installed for over two years now and I'm still not putting my hopes on anything - I'm just taking it one day at a time.
right, not that's out the way with, I'm off to find a couple of threads obout ftp servers and uploading web sites to my web space.. there has to be more than a few of those strewn around here somewhere...

I've tried that bloody awful terapin thing they give awayu - (if I had a load of them I'd give them away too!)
I've tried my own FTP client, FlashFXP, I've tried talking to it nicely, I've shouted at it - stroked it - took the ******* out for lunch, bought it a load of drink, took it round a friend of mines and got it stoned -
and on top of that I still paid a bill each month and its not having any of it!!!
Its only 4Mb of data, and I've been trying to upload this now for five days!
FIVE DAYS!!!!
and I know its not me because I'm not an old hand at this. I have a theory it has something to do with port 21 ??!!??
but I could be wrong...if it is then I'm going to have to wait until all the internet traffic across northampton thins out enough for me to get a look in..
which will probably be next xmas..
like I said, I'm taking it one day at a time.

funny that , there isnt a great deal of bitching about ntl here , i suppose if you are having problems then you will have rung them and asked them to sort it out for you , wont you :)

A couple of years with NTL and this guy has totaly lost it.....Not like me I am apple wibble dibble ibflib... fine :D

It's not that our female friends here cant stand up for themselves, as we all know they can very well, but in my view they should not have to.
Just thought it made sense to flash up a possible concern before rather than after the line was crossed.

I'm on SQ318. Having now gone long-haul with both BA and Singapore, I can say Singapore beats BA hands down. Actually if the recommendations I've had are to be believed, Singapore beats just about everyone hands down.

Eight hours ahead of you here - I'm boarding in 30 mins to take off in one hour. You got the landing time right tho' ... I will be back in Heathrow just after 3pm and home in time for tea. Of course, by five o'clock my poor bod will be telling me it's 1am Sunday morning. Urrrrggh...
