My girlfriend wants some of these straighteners because she says they are excellent. The cheapest I can find them for is 95 quid online, does anyone know anywhere cheaper?
Cheers

Spooky, my g/f and her sister in law both asked me the same question. The cheapest I've seen them is for £70 on ebay a couple of day's ago.

You can buy brand new GHD's cheaper from these sites -http://www.topirons.com/index.htm http://www.salonjunky.co.uk/product_list.php?category=/straighteners/

By the way SCP hair straightener's are also good i use one and it does my hair great if i put normal conditoner on my hair first then straighten it my hair goes straight frizz free and nice which is a good thing considering i have curly hair. I think the good think about GHD's is maybe because u might not have to put conditoner on first it may just straighten just like that, i dunno never had one but my SCP straightener is from www.hairstuffdirect.co.uk (http://www.hairstuffdirect.co.uk) and there only £45. All there straighteners have a 14 day no quibble money back gurantee, so you have nothing to lose. Go for it.

Any one else thinking of buying these save your money there are a lot of others out there that do the same job and are far cheaper

See, this is one of the (very, very, very) many things I don't understand about the fair sex.

My daughter - lovely curly hair, ringlets and waves - buys and uses a GHD (and occasionally goes to the hairdresser's) to straighten it.

My wife (whom I obviously love, adore, and cherish) lovely thick dark straight hair - get's it curled, and occasionally permed.

I would just be glad to have some of the hair I had in my 20's & 30's!
