Which footie team do you support and why? And if it's ManU do you live anywhere near Manchester!

Me:
Liverpool, Cos when I was a kid (So long ago) everyone supported Man Utd or Leeds! - Yes I do go watch when I can but usually cannot get tickets except for European matches.

Celtic. But not a blinkered die hard like most people in Glasgow are. Whether they are Celtic or Rangers. Would much rather they won than Rangers but not suicidal if it doesn't work out :)

i doubt that very much jealousy reigns for people who are not supporters of man utd just because they win the league title almost every season

have talented players won it all

Not likely to do that now, are they? That takes money.
Their income will shrink - no Premiership fees now.
And they've got all that re-development of the site to pay for:(
Could they go bust????

What? Not Tranmere Rovers?

Me and my brother used to go and watch Tranmere when they were in the old Division 4 and you could get in to their Friday night home games for a fiver.

But for anyone on Merseyside there's only two real choices and only one of those is any good ... LFC!

I`m a Man U supporter and have been for 45 years.
My dad first started taking me when I was a nipper and although we only live about 30 mile from Old Trafford, Liverpool and Everton are only about 12 miles. So why did we go to watch United all them years ago, the answer is because we live right on the junction of the M53/56, I can drive to Old Trafford in about 20-25 mins but if i was to go to Liverpool, it would take over an 1 hour by the time we`ve gone through the the tunnel and one way systems in Liverpool.
BTW I actually live in Ellesmere Port and half the town are United supporters, so we all can`t be wrong :)

Dover Athletic for my sins. The best non league side in Kent, bar none!
Cant be bothered with higher league teams, costs too much to watch em. Added to which, if it wasnt for the lower league teams there would be no supply of players to higher teams.
Apart from that people should support their local team (unless they are s**t like Margate of course, in which case they should just uhm, er, support Ramsgate or something.)
Rant over..............
