Hi, I have a Motorola V300 and it has some known problems which do affect me and basically I been told that there is a software update. Now my problem is that neither Motorola or T-Mobile will tell me how to update the phone. When I ring T-Mobile or ANY service center and tell them my model they always say it has to be sent off to Motorola to be service and it takes 2 weeks. Fair enough, it not a major problem. So I ring Motorola on 08709 010 555 and 5 times we got a different person and 5 times we been told that they don't know ANYTHING about sending off my phone or any phone to Motorola to be serviced and they tell us to ring one of the authorised Motorola service centers who tells me to go and post it to Motorola ad infinitum.

My question is how do I get my phone updated ? I live in the Wandsworth/Battersea area of London if that any help.

Sorry, was a bit of a pointless link, the victor GSM software does support the v300, but it's around £400 .. which is a bit steep to flash the firmware for one phone.

Surely the motorola service centre could arrange sending off your phone and deal with motorola on your behalf?

You could also try contacting someone senior at motorola, see if they can't contact your local service centre directly on your behalf and get them to sort it out between themselves.
