View Full Version : Third's a charm: What car do you *want* to drive?

Keep it under 50,000 pounds. I'm sure we all want multimillion dollar Ferraris and Lamborghinis, but put a cap of 50,000 pounds. :)

Although I'm in love with Corvette, and I will most likely own one in a few years, if I had that much cash I would go for a Dodge Viper. It has a 8.3L 500 hp V10 engine, and is the fastest 0-100-0 50-state street legal car in the world.

The Corvette, my first love, and the car I'll be getting when I graduate. It will be a C5, possibly late 90s.

Honda NSX (http://www.tiscali.co.uk/motoring/roadtests/roadtest_214_1.html)
(It would have to be a pre-owned one to keep it below £50k :D )
It's academic anyway because I'm too tall to fit in one:cry:

i want the new MG that is being tested at the moment in our auto lab, but i think that comes in at 75k :(

apart from that id like something with a nice big V8 engine... or failing that a robin reliant...

...wow a robin reliant with V8 capability... :eeek:

Good for you. If cost where no barrier, I'd go for either the Aston Martin Vanquish (referred in the new bond film as the "Vanish"), but I could slum it in a Z3...

Put a V8 in a robin reliant, and, assuming the car survived, you could probably go at 200 MPH....

I'd love a V8.

Sod the performance, I just like the happy little burbling noise it makes when it's idling.
