View Full Version : Can or can't I have NTL?

I am currently an NTL customer and have telephone and broadband. I am moving house so checked online to see if my new house can have NTL and hurrah it said i can. So I rang up and asked for my services to be moved but was told by the customer service person that the area was not enabled? Can somebody please tell me whether DE23 1DN can recieve NTL or not, because the i have had conflicting information.

That postcode (shown as "BROOKLANDS DR , LITTLEOVER , DERBY") is listed as servicable for all products. In fact, we've got 6 customers at that postcode already.

The person you spoke to must have either checked the wrong system or typed in the wrong postcode! Try again, and if you still have problems let us know.

DE22 1DN is definately the correct postcode, can somebody please check if its possible to get NTL, the website says yes, customer service says no.

Now here's a thing...

That postcode (which is West Row, Darley Abbey) shows that some premises are servicable. Specifically, 9 to 18 can be serviced but 1 to 8 can't (wrong side of the street perhaps?).

my new house is between 9 and 18, so that is good, i need to ring customer services again.

If the CSR questions it, tell them to check in Badger (yes, really!) - it's one of the Network availability tools.
