View Full Version : e-bill certificate expiry problem
Trying to use the e-bill feature on the ntlworld.com site yields a certificate error - apparently it was only valid between 01/12/2003 and 05/12/2003 - a rather short span of time to issue a certificate for if you ask me.
Anyone ?

Of course.... its all so simple! Why didn't I think of that ... :dunce:
dont you get an option to 'accept anyway'? or is that dependant on security settings in I.E. ...
Examine the SLL certificate details and see where the web browser is pointing to the URL encoded in the certificate. If you're happy, chick `yes` and proceed as usual. If you're not happy, call NTL customer services, stay on hold to just before you qualify for attendance allowance and complain.
Well, yes... but that's not the point. I'm sure I'm not the only customer that uses the e-bill, it would be nice if they fixed it. I can't be the only customer affected, but I guess the rest who tried to report it are still on hold.

How about asking ntl to get a new certificate?
