phone and fax

Anybody know what's involved when you have ntl phone, tv and broadband,
I believe that with BT it's just a matter of connecting the machine and away you go.

If you are talking about connecting a Fax to an NTL line, I don't see why it would be any different.

As I don't know the first thing about it, I just wondered if anyone had the experience of knowing what to do, such as the cost of sending, I was under the impression that you must have a dedicated phone line which would entail extra cost, I just want to have an idea of it before I go into it.
