First of all hi to everyone.
I have just signed up online this Wednesday for the 10 mb service but I now notice ntl seem to have an offer for the first three months at 17.99 and then 37.99 there after.
When I signed up .. I am sure the price was £34.99. has the price been increased ?
I am due to have the service installed on 14th March.
BR,
Peter :)

Hi Peter, and :welcome: to CF!

The price hasn't been increased - in fact, it's recently been decreased. 10Mb used to be £37.99, but was reduced to £34.99 in mid-January. That information is outdated, and if you look at another page (e.g., http://www.home.ntl.com/page/broadband3), you can see the correct price.

Thanks quadplay for the quick answer.

In some cases that should read "in fact, it's recently been decreased the 10Mb to an unacceptable level."
Hope yours is ok.

a) That doesn't make sense as a sentence
b) There are plenty of other threads to discuss speed issues.

Quite a few people care wether threads get dragged off topic or when people post just to cause arguments. As Quad stated there is a thread running about the speed issues. Maybe you should post your concerns in there and allow this thread to stay on the topic given by the new member.

Who cares. ;)

Us admins do, when we try to amalgamate different threads on the same subject.

Back on-topic now please.

I care.

If you are having problems with your connection speed, either discuss it in one of the existing speed threads, or create your own thread. Do not hijack other threads and take them off topic.
