Damn useless cashers in HMV, I just bought Kikis delivery service today and when i got home to watch it i found that they had left a stupid security seal in.

It was like a small red plug at the side of the dvd case stopping me from opening it up.

Any ideas what i should do? Will any other HMV open it for me?

did they defo not take it off? occasionally i have thought that they hadn't taken it off, because the sticky thingy was still on the side but it was off...did the alarms go off as u went out of the shop?

ok i would advise you to go in and get it de-tagged and i would complain as well....never know they might give you vouchers or something :p
edit: dont forget to take your receipt

Yep take it back with your receipt, if you look here
http://www.tagcompany.com/redtag/img/planet.jpg its an integrated system and you will have to destroy the case and probably the DVD to get it open.

say it was a present for someone and now you look like an idiot!!!! Rub it in thick!!

In Top Shop if they forget to take the tag off you get 15 quid if the alarm goes off when you walk out the door :)

at least they did when my friend worked there!

Well it seems my dads local HMV is even stupider (i know its not a word)
They A didnt know what the security system is and
B couldnt exchange it cus their manager wernt there.

and at this point i would have purple and asked them what the f**k they were on , cant work and dont know what there own systems are , so did you get sorted out then ???????????????

Its done!!
My dad went back and the manager was in. It seems they had the device there, just that the idiot on the till didnt know how to use it :rofl:
