Hello All
I've got the same in Luton and it's from yesterday.
Web pages opening very slow or even not opening at all.
U/S and D/S lights on my ntl120 are flashing not to often.
Is there any one with the same problem or maybe someone knows what's going on.

Regards
p.s.
My power levels are:

I'm in Luton and it's appalling tonight. I'm just about to give up.

Sadly getting exactly the same thing here too (Luton area) since around yesterday, although getting worse at the moment.

Pages start loading and stop. Pages sometimes fail to load at all. Internet seems to be generally disappearing and coming back up at occasions too :( - I'm hoping it's just something temporary and it'll pick back up again. The recent month or so has been pretty bad compared to the normal great service from NTL. This month, I've had many disconnects, failures, losses of internet access, slowness and random ups and downs. Still, hoping it's temporary.

Glad to know perhaps I'm not the only one getting this.

Getting the same, Stevenage in Herts. Intermittent connection or no connection at all. pings all over the place, Ive booked an engineer because they said no fault in the area, please all call ntl to report so we can get this upscaled to an area issue.

Cheers,

It seems ok but I will change proxy if it slows again.

Best cancel the engineer visit as well, <sigh>

Customer support lady was knowledgable and friendly tho :-)

My internet here in sunny Sandy is also pretty screwed.

I've reset my cable modem and router a couple of times.

Thanks for that, I'm using 11 and it's working perfectly now.

Was unusable before.

I changed proxy to lutn-7 and things seem to be a bit better for now, but it was really getting ridiculous. It took 10 minutes to load a simple text html page, and about 5 minutes for this reply to post :(

I couldn't get anything from lutn-11, couldn't even resolve the domains. My default lutn server could resolve domains but was downloading things at tortoise rate (watching the source of a page, it was around one character every few seconds)

I had trouble last night (Mon 13th) too - I'm in Bedford. I reported the fault, the helpline chap took me through a few things (basically rebooting the modem), then said that the modem needed replacing. An engineer will (allegedly) call on Wednesday morning to do it. This morning (Tues) I gather it's back to normal!

I find it strange that their techie didn't know of a problem (and at the time - 6.30ish - I couldn't see anyone on here reporting anything).

All very odd, if ntl want to send someone round to check it out, I'm not complaining.
