im moving from manchester to stockport postcode sk4 ( i dont know the rest so cant type it in the box to check bb availability on ntl website). Just wondering:
1. should i ring up customer service and give ntl 30 days notice to canx my service at the old address first
2. the new flat is on the 2nd floor. There is no ntl box as far as i know. It seems like its all bt there. There is a catv sign outside the house( does that help?)
i would appreciate any idea as i dont really want to pay for both telephone and bb, just want bb on its own.
thank you.
ann:)

:welcome: to the site.

I think the main thing is to give Ntl as much notice as possible. If there is a CATV point then you should be able to get broadband.

Trust me there is nothing that will wind up an Ntl worker faster than someone wanting to move their connection on the day they move out of one house. ;)

As long as you are outwith the first 12 months of your contract you should be able to get BB on its own.
