Sky HD

Hi All,

I noticed two new channels on my Sky EPG last night, Sky Movies 9HD and Sky Movies 10HD. Does this mean they Sky are getting close to providing an HD service? Their HD site doesn't mention any launch dates.

They haven't announced a launch date yet and their site (http://www.sky.com/hd/) is lacking in information.

Over on digitalspy the latest guesstimate is the 1st of April but this was from a CS member of staff picking a date at random.

I'd hope they announce the pricing sooner rather than later.

Yeah It is a bit lacking. I registered on their site a while ago but haven't heard a thing.

I think HD launches in Feb/Mar...don't quote me on that though.

Try looking for the promo on Freq:12344.00 Pol:H SR:27500 FEC:2/3 - but you'll need a DVB-S2 compatible receiver.

Seemingly the rest of the HD channels will be added to the EPG from now till the 14th of Feb.

Maybe not that long to wait after all?
