ford is stepping up its range of offers to tempt members of the public in to buying there cars by offering 12,000 miles worth of fuel for free

Think my dads going to be getting one of those new 1.4 diesel fiesta's for work. Getting a years worth of fuel, or 3 months with the mileage he does.

Nothing wrong with the newer Skodas - my parents have a Favorit and I had to borrow it a few weeks ago and I was suitably impressed.

Yeah Russ - I went in an Octavia Sprort a few weeks ago (for work, to fit a car seat) and was amazed!!! Very nice interior and build quality - I had to keep looking at the badge on the back to convince myself what it was! :shocked:

Apparently when Volkswagen took over Skoda a few years back, they totally revamped the whole operation to bring Skoda cars into line with Volkswagen standards.

Nice cars now. They seem to do quite well on the Rally circuit as well.

I can't believe Ford are having to give away free fuel though.

Well it makes a change from free insurance and interest free credit - both of which my daughter's boyfriend got when he bought his new diesel Focus 6 months ago!

I downloaded the Excel format data and then sorted it by 'fuel cost per 6000 miles'.

If you can't run to a Toyota Prius then how about an Audi A2 TDi with over 78mpg (urban cycle).
