Phone Problems

Hi everybody,
Having some problems with my house Phone, If I am out and somebody rings me, and hangs up, when I try to use the phone to dial out, there is no Dial tone. I tried turning the phone off and on - still the same, tried removing the connection to the phone line - still no good. I have to ring the house number from my Mobile, answer the call, hang up and then i can use my house phone.
I have the Binatone E3300 phone.

Any body heard or recommend anything for this problem.

One quick thing you could try is a different (corded) phone connected to the phone line.

If it still happens, must be the phone line, if it's okay with the other phone, must be the phone.

Buy a different make phone all together,
other than that,get yourself 2 yogurt pots and a very long piece of string.
This ll provide you with a better and more reliable way of talking to people than your binnatone phone does!:D
