Phone line dead in Poole?

Anyone else's phone line dead in Poole? Presumably it's to do with the fire -- I know NTL's main premises are in Manning's Heath, pretty close to Alder Hills. It does seem strange though that broadband and DTV are working fine...

Hi, I also live in Poole, Creekmoor area. And I have just checked my ntl phone line, and it is dead. Although my broadband works. I have checked the NTL website and they say that there is no broadband connection in various BH postcodes. So I think we can assume that the phone is dead due to the fire this morning.

My Phone Line has been up and down all day and seemed to be out of synch with the power outages, I live in Parkstone so am enjoying the use of my Broadband while the power is on for us :D

We are in Branksome. Power came back at about 7.45pm and TV and BB recovered OK but NTL phone line is still dead.

Hi I am in Bournemouth BH8 area and the phone line is dead here. Is there any one else in the same area who can confirm that the fault is here as well
