Code For Withheld Number Barring??

Hiya, Can anyone tell me the code for getting the withheld number barring back on my phone please? I removed the block last night, but cant remember how to get it back on.

I think it depends where you live

if you put your post code into this page

it should load the 'welcome' pack appropriate to your area, with the telephone options described.

If you mean anonymous caller rejection (if you have it enabled on your line), where people can't get through to you if they withhold their number, then to turn it on you dial 1478 and to turn it off you dial 1479

I live in bolton and our NTL codes are

to switch on *227#
to switch off #227#
to check status *#227#

but it may be different in your area

That is if your postcode is recognised by NTL. Our area has been cabled for over 10 years and the postcode still doesn't work! :shrug:
