Here's a good one, which would you choose if you could only have one of them?
TV/Movies or your computer/games?
Definately my computer and games consoles.
No question about it.

I voted for the computer - but I may be cheating 'cos mine has a TV card;)
PC, more fun as long as I get to have my broadband and messenger ;)

Hehe, computers are winning then.
I should have made this more difficult, like Movies or Games which I was going to do originally.

Another computer vote but when you look at time spent on computer each week is 60 hours + (okay, most of that is work but...) and then TV 5-10 hours it aint much competition.

I have my TV service provided by NTL but the only channel I ever watch is MTV.
I watch movies on my PC (via an s-video link to the TV) and imo, most TV is just mind-numbing trash.
I'd rather be interacting.

My computer - most of the time it's more entertaining than the telly :)

telly......because a pc cant compete with a philips plasma screen with 9 speaker surround sound and a ps2

Unless you have the following:
PC
5.1 Dolby Digital soundcard
700W speaker system (18Hz - 22kHz  )
DVD drive/DivX films
Graphics card with an SVideo out to a 32" widescreen TV
Yeah, that would be mine. :D

 at the speaker system (assuming you mean RMS not PMPO;) )
- puts my little Cambridge Soundworks Desktop Theater (sic) set to shame anyway:)

Yeah, RMS.
When I had a really good job a while ago I splashed out on a nice amp and some quality floorstanding speaker units.
They look a little like these, although mine have the woofers at the top and bottom with the tweeter/midrange units in the middle:

 - money well spent I reckon - my room I have the pc in is only 10' x 10' - I wouldn't be surprised if that lot would blow the window out;)

I use the comp more than the telly, so I guess the telly would have to go. Only problem is that my PS2 is plugged into it.
