10 / 10 (aren't I a clever boy?) :disturbd:

If you were REALLY clever you would have said 9/10 to make it look less obvious that you faked it ;)

I got 8/10 and I was surprised. Having said that, there were a couple of questions where I was not familiar with a term used, so I had to make an educated guess. :(

It is - I think this thread is from when it ran before. I got 42/70 - mostly questions on stuff I don't need to know or would never listen to.

I see men and women came dead even in the results. The one thing that women are scientifically proven to be better than men at, and they draw :)

45/70.

Even my youngest daughter got 31 (okay, so she guessed a few .... ;))

55/70.

But I thought the questions were poor. They couldn't seem to decide what they were actually testing - was it your spelling, was it your understanding, your ability to memorise facts in a clip, or your grammar?

Example: in the bit with the 'Terry Wogan' clip, there were two questions: what was the name of the town where the traffic jam was, and what was the name of the caller? Well, I got the town, because that's an important fact, but who cares about the name of the caller? When you hear a traffic report on the radio, you don't care who it is who called in with the information :erm:

Oh, and as an aside - who was it doing the impersonations? Have you ever seen anyone look less like Terry Wogan? Have you ever seen anything less funny on Saturday evening TV? (Except on ITV1?)

I didn't think anyone used canned laughter any more.

But one thing was really funny: John Humphrey's story about the preposition at the end of sentences. Not the story itself, but everyone's reaction. I've heard it before myself, but he told it so badly and his fake New Orleans accent made it really hard to pick out what he was saying. So it was hilarious watching peoples faces with that giveaway 'I'm laughing because everyone else is but I've no idea why' expression :D
